What is plant medicine does Leaf and de Vine provide?
Leaf and de Vine holds ceremonies for Hape & Cacao, Ayahuasca, and Kambo.
Hape & Cacao is held monthly. Hape is a mix of medicinal herbs with a tobacco and ash base. It is an herb snuff that is ritually used by indigenous tribes in the Amazon basin. Different blends have a variety of effects. The ceremonies are accompanied by music, singing, and meditation.
Ayahuasca is a mix of two plants called Banisteriopsis Caapi and Psychotria Viridis. Banisteriopsis acts like MAOi inhibitors that allows the body to absorb the DMT in the Psychotria Viridis. It is important to be aware of medicines that may interact with the blend of plants and to be mindful of your traumas prior to going into an Ayahuasca ceremony.
Kambo comes from the slime of the Amazonian tree frog named Phyllomedusa bicolor. The wax is applied to the skin through the lymphatic system. There are components similar to Dermophin and Deltorphin in the wax.
Is plant medicine right for everyone?
No, plant medicine is not right for everyone. It is important to keep in mind your mental health history, drug interactions, and personal beliefs. You have to take the path that is right for you but all paths should be available if you choose to walk it. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Leaf and de Vine here.
My Connection with Plant Medicine
Plant medicine has a special place in my life. For a long time, I have dealt with depression and anxiety. At some point, I had a rough break when trying to process trauma. Afterward, my nervous system would spike causing zapping down my spine and on the left side of my body. I tried many things and trauma therapy was on that list. Plant medicine let me connect with the processes that I was working through in my therapy to begin to heal through the trauma life had placed upon me. Those that are here from my plant medicine family, thank you for being here. With the special code provided by Leaf and de Vine, your purchase goes back to the tribe in Pucallpa, Peru.
